Google glass is developed in Google X Lab as a part of the project glass research and development programs. These glasses act as a path to the next generation computer technology. The testing of Google glass begins in April 2012. This project was announced in Google + by the project glass leader Babak Parviz.
Facilities
Google glass displays its information in a smartphone. It can interact with the internet through natural voice language commands. The internet connected glass will provide the following features such as 5 megapixel camera capable of Video Recording at 720p, picture capturing, Search option, Translating, Display flight details, Weather, Maps etc. Google offers 16 GB of internal storage facility for the glass. Just a quick winking of your eyes is needed to click the pictures. The glass is compatible with any Bluetooth devices. However the Google does not disclose the exact specification of the glass.

There are so many rumors associated with the glass. For using SMS and GPS facility the glass requires android smartphones with myglass apps. It seems that the user still have to wait until 2014 to get the device in their hand.
